WELCOME TO THE LOCALS CONTACT CENTER

Hi! Welcome to the Mammoth Locals Reunion Blogging Site. This is where you can post messages, or read messages, from other "locals" out there who plan to be at the Reunion Celebration. This can be used as a network tool to try and reach long lost friends you would love to see at the reunion. Isn't the Web an amazing tool? How did we all get along without it?

Lots of exciting plans are still in the works for the reunion. Most of all it will be a place and time to see old friends, remember good times, and have one more good time for the memory book celebrating our wonderful community! Hope to see you there!

This is so amazing! I lived in Mammoth from 1975 to 1997 (give or take a couple years to go to school). There are so many people I miss, so many I've learned have passed away, sooooo many memories! I still keep in touch with Barbara Bradbury but whatever happened to Bridge Williams?

Thanks so much for doing this Marianne! Hope I can come, I have three sons, two in football right now though, amazing how fast they grow! Maybe someone remembers Eric Wooley or Mike Wooley?

Hey Jen Schroeder!

Bridge Williamson here, responding to your blog! A friend ran into it and asked me if I knew you....what a great surprise; will you be there 9/1? I have my tx and hope to see you and Barb there (and bring pics of your boys). Just moved to Tahoe from the Bay area 3 mos ago. Great to be back in the Sierras. Where are you? my email is bwsausalito@yahoo.com. Anyone else who reads this and remembers the name(s)... it'd be great to hear from you. Any of the REAL firefighters from MLFD (70's) showing up? I worked there as MLFD sec from '75 to '82. Would be great to see El Heffey (Sweeny) as well. Fill me in!

I'm really looking forward to this! I can't wait to see who shows up. I live in Redondo Beach now and I hope that many other past locals make the trip from where ever they live now to attend this wonderful event.

Crazy Kathy how about the T-Shirt contest at the Youdler or does anyone that worked on the lifts remember the "letter"?

Hey old Mill City employees & patrons I got drunk. This is Steve Moore, the short , dark great looking bartender from 1973 thru 1975. How could we ever forget our time in Mammoth, everyone says if I had my life to do over, Mammoth was the best.Jon Zar & Rich Lee were great to work for, the dance contests that ended up being wet t-shirt events, village races, to many hours in "HOT CREEK".

My wife Becky (Clark)are looking forward to seeing you all. We can be reached email budgetcourier2@sbcglobal.net

Remembering back stretches the grey matter, but the faces & names are coming back into focus. Winter 1971 working at MM as a short order cook, living in a cabin called Clearwater in Shady Rest. Many people to find, 2 will be there on 9/1 with me. Bill Staggs (MM ski repair), Greg Johnson (MM dishwasher), Gary Fisher (MM parking lot), Rick Tracy (MM personnel), Bill Godbey (MM dishwasher), Candy Cook (MM cashier), Dan Hofland, Stevie Stroup, Drucilla Doheny, Shelly Dunlap.
Alway remember the one morning, 20 below, nothing starts, tramping in snow by Busters to Hwy, only one car , an old VW bus, started that morning for a ride to MM @ 6am.

Looking forward to the event.

Will there be another reunion? Hope so... no feedback here about it, heard that Bridge was there and Steve Mureau...wow I really blew it!
